Ethical Investing
Cleveland Westside Village (CWSV) member Edie Rasell will speak about the financial, economic, and ethical impacts of investing and wealth. In addition, a couple of CWSV members will share their experiences with socially responsible investing. The presentation will be followed by discussion.
Edith Rasell is an economist and member of the Cleveland Westside Village. She worked for 12 years at the Economic Policy Institute, a highly regarded think tank in Washington, DC, before moving to Cleveland in 2001 to serve as Minister for Economic Justice with the United Church of Christ. She has a Ph.D. in economics from American University in Wash., DC. Rasell also authored The Way of Abundance: Economic Justice in Scripture and Society (Fortress Press, 2022).
